&index_txt2=James O'Leary is a television news producer and broadcast journalist. He works for several organizations including WEBN-TV, EIV-TV, WECB Radio, and PoliticalPulse.net. His work has been recognized and honored by Emerson College and the Associated Press. He also runs two blogs of his own. James was born in raised in Massachusetts. His hometown is the tiny village Assonet, Mass., but he currently resides in Boston. When he's not in the newsroom, James can usually be found spending time with his family, cheering for the New England Patriots, or at the theatre with his girlfriend.

&second_txt1=James O'Leary is a 21 year old news producer and broadcast journalist. James is a lifelong Massachusetts resident. He was raised in Assonet and currently lives in Boston. He is senior broadcast journalism major and political science minor at Emerson College. He has interned with WHDH-TV in Boston as well as Kraft Sports Productions in Foxborough, Massachusetts at Gillette Stadium.

&second_txt2=James' resume boasts a wealth of experience in journalism. He has covered the 2008 presidential election, the inauguration of President Barack Obama, and 2009 MLB Spring Training. His hard work and dedication has earned his several honors.

Special Projects Intern -- WHDH-TV, Boston, MA Assist with the production of weekly political and investigative segments for the local NBC affiliate. Duties include: preparing scripts for the web, selecting sound bites, logging video, general research, assist with script writing, and contacting sources. January 2009-Present
Intern -- Kraft Sports Productions, Foxborough, MA Assisted with the taping of segments for daily web programming for Patriots.com, and weekly programming for WCVB-TV. Logged daily team practices and weekly games using Avid Media Logger. Other duties included organizing digital video library, gathering file footage, contacting and requesting sources for footage. Anchor/Reporter/Writer/Editor/Producer -- WEBN-TV, Boston, MA Anchor and produce half-hour sportscasts. Reporter and anchor for half-hour newscasts. Write and edit local, national, and international news and sports stories using AP-ENPS. Shoot mini DV digital format. Use JVC 5000 and JVC 200 cameras.
